Less Explored Places To Visit In Andaman

1. Guitar Island Beach
This is a relatively less explored island, but that doesn't mean it's any less significant. The island gets its unique name because it's in the shape of a guitar. But during low tides it gets connected to the nearby islands, forming the strings of the guitar. Come here to enjoy the beautiful waters, the varieties of crabs, the green nature all around and experience a fresh morning, devoid of any crowds. Although you should keep in mind that due to lack of settlements, you can't stay the night.
2. Corbyn's Cove Beach
Also known as the silent beach because of its calm atmosphere, it is located very close to Port Blair. The waters here are shallow, so you won't be able to enjoy a lot of water activities. But if you want some calmness, then this crescent-shaped beach is best for that.
3. Stewart Island Beach
If you are on the search for some alone time and serenity, then Stewart Beach will welcome you. Located close to Mayabunder, the island is uninhabited and isolated when compared to the rest of the islands. You will get to experience the greenery as well as the beaches herein. It is recommended that you begin early so that you can be back before sunset.
4. Merk Bay Beach
It is not that well known of a beach when compared to others, but Merk Bay Beach is a pleasant beach to visit overall. It is situated in the North Passage Island in Andaman which is an uninhabited island. Come here to see the turquoise waters and the shimmering white sands in which you can immerse your feet. You will have to come here on a boat, so enjoy the boat safari as you rush over by the vast creeks.
5. Rutland Island
Situated close to Port Blair, this beautiful island was the home of Jangil, an indigenous Andaman tribe. Come here to see the lighthouse which is located right on the slopes of the northern hills. There are two major peaks here, namely Mount Ford and Mount Mayo. Both of these are located in the northern and southern parts of the island. You can enjoy swimming, diving, and snorkeling here.
