The Dharamshala (4780 feet) is a popular hill station in the Himachal Pradesh. It is the only place to see the Tibetan monasteries, forest, lakes, waterfalls, mountain peaks and valleys on the Himalayas. It is the place to take pilgrim tour, nature tour, mountain adventure tour and honeymoon tour.

How to reach Dharamshala from Delhi is possible by flight access.


1. Bhagsu Waterfall

This is a beautiful waterfall, which is near to Shri Gunna Devi Mandir. It will take a mild trek to reach this place. You can take a bath in its cascade.

2. Bhagsunath Temple

This is a renowned Hindu temple in Dharamshala. This temple is in the beautiful location on the mountain. You can go walking trials surroundings of this temple. It has a pool to take a bath before worship.

3. Dal Lake

This is the world’s highest stadium. The views of the mountains from this stadium will look unique. It is in a hillock location and looks like a stadium in the heavens.

6. Kangra Valley

It is the best place to see this valley and the Dhauladhar ranges of the Himalayas. The view from Kangra fort of this valley will be looking amazing. This is a scenic valley in Dharamshala.

7. Masrur

This is a popular Hindu temple, which is also known as the Himalayan Pyramids. These are rock cut temples of the 8th century. It has a small pool in front of this temple. It looks like a sacred place on the Himalayas.

8. McLeod Ganj

This is the place of Buddhists monasteries in India. It is also popular as little Lhasa in India. You can see the Dhauladhar peak from this place. It has many retreat centers. This is a beautiful village too.

9. Minikiani Pass Trek

You can go mountain trekking in Dharamshala. The Minikiani Pass trek is a popular trekking route to reach Chamoli. You can see lakes, narrow gorges, misty mountains, scenic villages and view the Dhauladhar ranges of the Himalayas.

10. Triund Hill

This is a popular trekking spot in Dharamshala. It is a camping ground too on the Dhauladhar ranges. When you reach here, you will be at an altitude of 9350-ft above the mean sea level.
